Welcome to the Forest Lake Preservation Foundation
The Forest Lake Preservation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Forest Lake and its watershed in the Town of Land O’Lakes, Vilas County, Wisconsin.
Our Mission
Our mission is to protect water quality, support a balanced lake ecosystem, prevent and control aquatic invasive species, and educate the public about actions that help sustain Forest Lake for future generations.
Working Together
The Foundation works alongside the Forest Lake Association , Forest Lake’s riparian property owners, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and our environmental consulting partner, Onterra.
Although we collaborate closely with the Forest Lake Association, the Foundation is an independent organization with its own charitable mission and governance.
